Real Talk Recharge
Think & Dream Moments

Carol here, real talk recharge.
As most of you know I do my best thinking in the morning. It's where I find my energy and patience with myself. I settle into the silence and sip my coffee, think, and dream.
On this morning what I began to hear was: how do you feel about where you are today? What changes have you made? I'm quickly approaching 74 in years, and that in itself is eye opening, and I thought: is this where the story winds down? Come on, we all have those thoughts, sometimes quiet, sometimes loud.
First a sip of coffee, now my think and dream moments.
Think moment: I realized that there have been times I've had escape plans, some on my own terms, and some on life's terms.
Dream moment: Let me start a small business at 68, later than most people expect and exactly on time for me.
Think moment: Had I been building this in my mid-fifties without even recognizing it as one?
Dream moment: I knew that I wanted to help women 50+ rediscover themselves for who they are as they enter their third act with intention instead of uncertainty.
Know moment: As I read my own words, I understand that my Third Act didn't start with a plan, it started with listening to myself again, the way I did over that coffee. Every hard year, every escape plan, every quiet building season taught me something I still lean on today. Somewhere along the way, I stopped being unsure of the unknown and got curious about it instead. So here I am, standing on the edge of my own Third Act, leaning in to hear what it's calling, and what I hear is: believe, trust, and morning coffee will back me up every time.
Want to try this for yourself? Here's how to find your own think, dream moments:
Find your version of quiet, morning coffee, an evening walk, whatever is yours, and just listen
When a think surfaces, a doubt, a memory, a question, let it sit without judging it
Let a dream follow right behind it, even if it feels too late, too small, or too big
Look for the pattern between what you've already accomplished and what you keep circling back to, that's usually where your next step is hiding
Move. Thrive. Live Well
