The Power of Centered

Beyond Stillness: Finding the Center of Fun

The beauty of this word is how it’s been sparking new ideas for me! While we often think of 'finding our center' as something serious and quiet, I’m seeing it in a whole new light. I want Mindset Monday to be about the vibrant energy that comes when we bring life back into our routine!

We all too often look at our daily tasks—whatever they are—and think of it as "just another day." When I start to feel that way, I look for ways to not take each day for granted. I want to appreciate my place and my space as an opportunity to discover something new.

The Kaleidoscope Lens To do this, we need to become kids again and see things as if we have never experienced them before. I like to think of it as a kaleidoscope full of colors and such a simple, beautiful way to look at each day.

When we ground our center, it doesn’t have to be heavy. It should be the foundation for our joy. To find your "center of fun" this week, try these three shifts:

  • See with Childhood Wonder: Approach a familiar task today as if it’s a brand-new adventure you’ve never seen or experienced before.

  • Appreciate Your Space: Don’t take for granted who you are or where you are. Look for the "hidden" opportunities for discovery right in front of you.

  • Ground Yourself in Fun: Let’s stop over-complicating our mindset. When we find the center of fun, the mundane becomes extraordinary.

Let’s find the center of fun together.

Reflect with me: If you looked through a kaleidoscope at your life today, what is one "color" or pattern you’d want to see more of?
