Mindset Monday

My Coffee Cup Challenge

Welcome,

Every morning without even thinking about it, I reach for my cup in the same spot, and somehow no matter where the day takes me, it always ends up right back on that shelf exactly where it belongs.

So one day I thought, what would happen if I moved it?

Four days later I finally remembered my cup was in its new spot without even thinking about it, and it felt like I had won the lottery.

So what does a reset actually look like?

It is not a dramatic overhaul; it is one honest moment where you pause and get quiet. Your mindset is not something that just happens, it is something you practice with intention, and it starts by taking that one intentional step forward, your way.

Here are a few simple shifts to get you thinking, and if one of your own comes to mind, go with that one first.

Small shifts that create a mindset reset

o   Move something in your routine to a new spot, just like the coffee cup, and notice what happens

o   Before you reach for your phone in the morning take one slow breath and set one intention for the day

o   Take a different route on your walk, your drive or even how you move through your morning

o   Put your to do list in a different order and start with something small you know you can finish

o   At the end of the day write down one small win, no matter how small, and let that be enough

Move. Thrive. Live Well.
